Bnei Akiva of Los Angeles and Moshava Alevy are seeking a passionate and experienced leader to guide our youth programming and summer camp for the next generation.

Camp and Year-Round Programming Director

 

Location:

Los Angeles, CA

 

Salary:

$150K+ (commensurate with experience)

 

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity for a dynamic couple or individual to lead Bnei Akiva of Los Angeles year-round and direct Camp Moshava Alevy in the summer. The role requires a deep commitment to Orthodox Zionist values, strong leadership skills, and a vision for inspiring youth and building community.

 

After a four-year commitment in Los Angeles, the director will transition to running Moshava Alevy from Israel, continuing to guide its growth and mission remotely.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and expand year-round youth and teen programming

• Partner with local schools, synagogues, and community organizations

• Oversee all operations and staff at Camp Moshava Alevy

• Deliver engaging and inspiring Torah content

• Build long-term relationships with families and donors

• Recruit campers and staff, and develop camp programs annually

 

Qualifications:

• US Citizen or Greencard Holder

• At least 7–10 years in youth programming, camp leadership, or a related field

• Must have senior leadership experience at a Bnei Akiva camp

• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

• Deep commitment to Torah, Orthodox Zionism, and youth engagement

• Fluent in Hebrew and English; 4+ years of Hesder Yeshiva learning preferred

• Willingness to relocate to Los Angeles for four years, then return to Israel
